My CRMUG Summit Schedule

 In Microsoft Dynamics CRM Blog

Last year, I had the privilege to attend the CRMUG Summit 2012 in Seattle, WA and I was tremendously surprised by the quality of the sessions and by the atmosphere and vibe I felt from all the attendees. The difference between bigger conferences like Microsoft Convergence and smaller ones like the CRMUG Summit is that most attendees are Microsoft Dynamics CRM Users or Administrators who go there to learn from industry experts and other peers.

At bigger conferences like Microsoft Convergence, you get thousands of attendees (12,000+ in 2013), and partners and other companies send hundreds of their employees to network and seek opportunities with attendees. Also, the sessions tend to be much bigger (10x the size in some cases), for example, my biggest session at the CRMUG Summit 2012 had probably between 35-40 attendees. My biggest session at Microsoft Convergence 2013 had between 300-400.

I was really happy to participate in 3 sessions last year at the CRM Summit 2012 and I’m very excited this year to be involved in 6 sessions, 1 will be at The Partner Connections Event (running right before the CRMUG Summit) and 5 at the CRMUG Summit.

By the way, if you haven’t registered to this year’s CRMUG Summit ( please consider attending, it’s amazing. I like to say that the CRMUG Summit is like “Microsoft Convergence Unplugged”, if you are familiar with the MTV Unplugged series you know the difference between a Band playing in a massive stadium with all bells and whistles (laser show, fireworks, etc.) to a more intimate setting where you have closer access to the performers.

This year the CRMUG Summit will have more speakers and more Microsoft Dynamics CRM MVPs in attendance than ever before, 16 CRM MVPs are confirmed to speak with maybe some others attending to participate and network with others.

If you have the chance to attend this year’s CRMUG Summit in Tampa, FL, I would like to see you in one of the sessions I will be participating on as a presenter, co-presenter, or panelist.

This is a preliminary schedule. Sessions and times are subject to change.
